- A commercial charter, of all things. Imagine an American Airlines flight with weapons laying all over the aisles, M16s, Light Machine guns, etc. Talk about security issues!

- We just had a massive rebuild and there are lots of shops and places to eat. It's one of the better airports now (and I've been to many) in my opinion. Problem with it now is that we are building a light rail system, so traffic is a mess.

it was a return trip from Philadelphia to Los Angeles...LAX. Its amazing that jets can travel so far and so fast and so high.

It didn't really go far but I took a small plane ride around our home many years ago. We flew over our property and the park, Hearst Castle and the California coast up to Big Sur. It was lovely:-) IT was also on the 4th of July so we saw a lot of people gathering for the different fireworks displays that would happen later that evening.
