K-lite is pretty sizable, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you are just trying to play anime or something like that, CCCP is light and works fine. Playback is via Media Player Classic or Zoom Player.

get the k-lite codec pack, it comes with media player classic, runs everything in the universe practically :D
