Help answer this question below.
1) Disk Clean -- windows standard
2) De-fragment -- windows standard
3) Registry clean -- need to get a copy somewhere
4) Buy more RAM if you can
5) Buy new Processor if you can
Start by defragmenting your hard drive. That puts everything you need to run each program all back in the right spots. Then check for spyware and viruses. Yoi might be surprised at what you may find. Then close out anything that isn't necessary to run your computer. If you have to, go into your task manager under processes. End any user marked ones that aren't necessary for what you're doing. If none of this works, take it to a computer store and ask about adding more RAM memory to it (random access memory).
Click onto Computer. go to change internet connection. click onto saved files to sites visited and erase.
This should give you at least some increase in speed.
What are your specs? Other than the first answer above not much you can do unless you willing to upgrade your hardware. BTW it is not difficult to do that either.
