If their email is listed, you can contact them that way... If YOUR email is listed, go to their last activity (hopefully just a few seconds ago), and ask them to contact YOU through your email in your profile.
Otherwise, one or both of you should probably display your email address (at least temporarily) in your profile, so the other can get it... Once you have passed email back and forth, you can re-hide your profile email address.
