Vampyre Bat Counseling does not work for these people. No medical study has shown that there is an effective treatment for this. There is none. I stand by what I said and I will not apologize for it in any way. A dead pedophile will not rape children again. That is a fact.

Vampyre Bat I have spoken to experts on this issue whose job it is to treat and lock up these individuals. There is nothing that counseling can do for these people. Once they are hard-wired into sexualizing children that mental wiring can't be reprogrammed. In my opinion, this is a mercy killing. In my opinion the sexual abuse of a child is grounds for execution. I hold my opinion with no remorse. A child victimized by this type of predator carries emotional and physical baggage that is permanent and often amounts to a living death in it's own right. To me, I have no remorse and I personally would pull the switch or inject a lethal injection into an individual guilty of this crime. I will sleep quite well the night after also.

Vampyre Bat As an attorney that has seen a lot. Yes it is too hard to fathom. I've seen too many get loose or disappear and end up killing a victim that screamed to loud or whatever. Better to keep them locked away than take the chance. An honest molestor with genuine remorse will tell you that he can't stop. He/she admits this and accepts their time in jail and possible an indeterminate admission to a mental health facility so that they keep themselves away from children because they unlike the "experts" realize that they can't be cured.

I agree that they should stay at a mental health/rehab facility for as long as they are a threat...But before you said that, you were going on about handing execution power to the parents or castrating and killing them personally...that's quite a leap.

Firebrand Anti-Semantic that is for the rest of their lives. A Peodophile cannot change their sexual deviation no matter how much counselling they get. Rehab. is I am afraid a joke. That is why I tend my five year olds grave because too many people think counselling will cure. It cannot and will not and no matter how many people DR my opinion I would imagine I have reasonably good first hand knowledge, better than most lefty liberal people with too much social conscience and not enough knowledge.

Imprisoning them for a disorder that cannot be cured is like imprisoning those who are insane. And keep in mind, most things which are "incurable", are usually just "incurable by modern means"...200 years ago, psychosis was "incurable".

Since society is unwilling to execute the only really effective deterrent, then they need to lock them away for good, either that or live with the consequences of being soft on these animals. 123elementary I know I'll get heaps of flak from people who are totally focused on punishment, BUT, child abuse of all kinds is what produces these monsters in the first place, so why isn't anyone doing anything about stopping all kinds of child abuse, not just sexual abuse?
We as citizens are being put under all kinds of pressure, some of us cope better than others, and in far too many cases, when people fail to cope, it builds up a frustration, which far too often, many take out on children, in all forms of abuse.
Society as a whole, including the huge Corporations, have to all change their ways, or victims of abuse will continue to produce victims of abuse, with the end result, we'll just have more and more victims.
Ask yourselves who the real abusers are?
Then you'll know what the real cause of this behaviour is?
WHAT ABOUT THE VICTIMS, no point in beating up Pedos if we don't do something about what's creating them, otherwise were as guilty as them.
