I studied Tae Kwon Do for a few years. Daddy taught me that it's better to be able to take care of yourself instead of having to rely on someone else to fight for you.

I studied Shaolin Longfist Kung Fu for about two years and Tae Kwon Do for about a year and a half.I also boxed through my highschool years. I was involved in so many different sports and extracurricular activities in junior high and highschool and I had to "Make Some VERY Hard Choices." I do miss martial arts though and would like to resume study, however I am now considering Kempo at 43 years old. LOL !!

I learn Taekwondo for 3 years, each training last for 1.5 hours. We had lots of warming up exercises. We had sparring and pattern trainings. It is quite fun to learn with friends and work with partners.

I study and to a limited degree teach Kunst des Fechtens, the Martial Art of medieval Germany. It includes both armed and unarmed combat, including a lot of grappling and a whole panpoply of weapons. I focus mostly on the longsword. I have also dabbled in Filipino Martial Arts (Arnis de Mano), and do some Italian Rapier from time to time.
