I dont think so, or I hope not. I think a sense of humour is vital in a girl, I hope girls feel the same way about men! (which Im pretty sure they do).
Seriousness has it's time and place but it should be reserved for serious times.

i can't speak for all women, but i don't like guys that are overly serious and don't like to laugh. i do like guys who are serious enough to have their lives somewhat together though.

It depends on the girl's personality. People like all different types of people. Don't change yourself because girls may or may not like it- just be yourself. Then you know you are actually liked/loved for who you are, not who you pretend to be.
