The Chief Jan 31st, 2010 Depends on whether you're a creationist or an evolutionist!

If you're a creationist, then the Chicken came first, as God created all the animals before they procreated.

If you're an evolutionist, then the egg came first...because something that wasn't quite a chicken laid the egg that hatched the first chicken.

- Marky Mark A pre-historic hen took a dump and her womb fell out accidentally. Maternal instincts kicked in so she sat on it to keep it warm. A week later a healthy chick was born. The rest is history. Next question.
