    They vary widely. A used Bosendorfer concert grand can cost you $80,000 or more. A crappy upright with a cracked sound board, maybe free if you haul it away.

    I've seen some for as low as $200.00, but you should get someone who plays the piano well to check it. Some pianos don't hold tuning well, so even if you tuned it, you would be unhappy with the sound. You could also go to a piano store and they usually have new and used pianos. Some of the used ones there are around $1000.00, as compared to the new ones, which are $3000 to $4000 or more.
