Suby the Coat Nov 16th, 2009 I do not dump people just because they disagree with me.
I believe no constructive dialog could take place unless all differing points of views are expresssed on an issue.

I always welcome all points of view on an issue and taking a consensus view if possible or in continuing friendships with different views on the same issue.

But I am sorry to note that there are several people who turn abusive the moment a note of disagreement to their view is expressed and dump their friends of long standing.

I hope sanity will prevail and we would tolerate and respect one anothers views, for the benefit of all of us.

Brian I Nov 16th, 2009 One of the people that was on my friends list holds political views directly opposite to mine, but we had some interesting discussions. It would never occur to me to "dump" him because of our different opinions, although it looks as though he doesn't feel the same way because he's no longer there.
