POR-15 is a high-performance coating that prevents rust when applied directly onto weathered metal surfaces. When finished, the coating does not crack nor peel, protecting metal from further contact to moisture. A coat of POR-15 can be applied to floor pans, marine equipment and even a rusted battery tray. POR-15 protects valuable equipment for farm, industrial, and construction industries by stopping rust permanently. With its surface tolerance, it works well with surfaces such as wood, fiberglass and even concrete and bricks. The POR-15 treats rust by collecting moisture from the atmosphere. A solvent evaporation method allows a small amount of air to slowly reach the surface of the metal that has been painted. POR-15 is extremely bendable--it can endure twisting and pulling without breaking.
