What can a female do to impress a guy on a first date? Any ideas? I am going on a second date next week and want to impress him. Just need ideas

Piggle Oct 23rd, 2009 I think this is a very sad question - why do you feel the need to do something to impress him? He must like you if you are going on a second date - just be yourself, if he doesn't like it then he wasn't worth it in the first place.

Dress appropriately for where you are going, and try to be natural - if you put on an act to impress someone you'll only come across as false.....

- Piggle You can show him you like him by maintaining eye contact when you are talking and being interested in what he has to say; but always be yourself and remember that he is probably out to impress you too!

- christen1985 ha ha, that made me smile now. "remember that he is probably out to impress you too" i like the sounds of it. The thing is he is quiet a complecated guy and guess all i can do is wait and hope for the best. Maintaining eye contact is really important and that i agree with too.

Z-Weezy Oct 23rd, 2009 Compliments. A lot of girls think guys don't like to hear them, but they are just as vain (if not more so) than most women. Also, try to find a few common interests before the date. Small talk will only get you so far, and an extended silence leaves both people feeling like they failed. In conversation, try to do equal parts listening and speaking. If he seems shy, these common interests will give him something he is more confident speaking about.

AnonymousGirl Oct 23rd, 2009 Why bother? Just be yourself and if he doesn't like who you are, then you probably shouldn't be together anyway. It makes things so much easier when people aren't FAKE!
