Emagrece, sometimes called the Brazilian diet pill, is a diet supplement consisting of South American plants and other natural ingredients. It's designed to detoxify the body and aid in weight loss. Emegrace is a two-step weight loss system. Users first take a Cleanse & Detox supplement and then follow it with Energy & Metabolism Support. According to Emagrece's official website, the yellow pills of the Cleanse & Detox system contain magnesium hydroxide, carqueja, fedegoso, jurubeba, guava leaf, gervao, abuta and psyllium. The orange Energy & Metabolism pills contain cha de bugre, yerba mate, guarana and damiana. According to Emagrece's official web site, the diet pills enhance metabolism, suppress appetite, reduce food cravings, eliminate stored body fat, and increase energy. As a result, the makers promise dramatic weight loss with regular use. The National Institutes of Health and other sources have noted that two of Emagrece's main herbal ingredients, psyllium and damiana, produce a laxative effect on the body. The FDA has warned against using Emagrece. Studies have found the supplements to contain ingredients not listed on the bottle, including some controlled substances such as amphetamines.
