In 1970, the Beatles won the Best Original Song Score Oscar for "Let it Be." They were nominated in the category of Best Story and Screenplay Written Directly For the Screen for "A Hard Day's Night" in 1964 but did not win.
In 1988, the Beatles were inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison were inducted individually in 1994, 1999 and 2004 respectively.
