I am unsure 'when' 'which' stage act to which you refer.
I am not a big fan of David Lee Roth, but I am a BIG fan of Black Oak Arkansas. Not so much of Jim Dandy after Black Oak.

I have to admit that I like them better when Sammy joined the group. I was all upset because I didn't like him before that and I thought he would ruin them, who knew he'd make them better?? Go figure!!

They did what, one or two albums together? I don't remember. A friend way back when had The Speed of Sound album. It was pretty cool.
