Probably a week or two. When the mother cat's sides look like they are twice the size of her body, she is probably very near to having the kittens. If you see her cleaning herself a lot, getting up and down and looking for a place to hide, she is probably going into labor.

well i think my cat might be pregnant she keeps cleaning herself has like balls on the side of her body pinky nipples and keeps laying on blankets and is reallly heavy! and dosent like bein holded and is eating alot is she pregnant plzz plzz plzz tell me we cant go to vet xxxx

She is a foster cat that im looking after she is very slim and not bulging i took her to be spayed and the vet said she was pregnant and the kittens were the size of golf balls,so i brought her home but have no idea when she is due thanks for your answer :)
