Not particularly.
I still have two friends via e-mail. Pretty much lost everyone else because of moving. Some days I miss my old friends
Actually, no. And very unfortuntate it is too. I have moved such vast distances all over the world that it has been difficult to keep up with all of them. Some I have found again through the internet but those who also moved before I had the internet seem to have been lost forever. Very sad.
My brother in law, my best friend, I have been friends with since 2nd grade.
No, sad to say. Most of my friends from school faded from my life after I went into the military. I backed away from making anything other than acquaintances for many years after Vietnam, perhaps because losing my friends in Vietnam made me kinda close myself off a bit as a self-protective measure. When I was in business and industry, competitiveness was the order of the day and friends were mostly "friends of convenience." It wasn't until I retired and bought my Harley that I began to relax and make actual friends again. Kind of a sad story, but not all that uncommon.
No. Most of my friends have either died or moved away. :( I do still have three friends that I've had for most of my life.
Absolutely, of course living in a small community has a lot to do with it I'm sure, but, I am still friends with most of the people I met in kindergarten!! Thats been over 16 years..
Can't say, I never really had any as a kid.
yeah, I have a quite a number of friends I known from my school days.
i believe friendship comes with an expiry date.).
yes i do and no matter how far apart we are we will find a way to see each other again. I can't let them go because life would just be boring without them.
Not at all!
Life is a kind of filter - after a few years you have one or two friends that come form childhood or student years.
Some of them. Strangely enough I have found my friends from my childhood and we connected as if we had never stopped seeing each other. It's a good thing to keep in touch with your friends from the past, they keep you grounded, remind you of a time when things were simpler, more innocent. They help you stay in touch with the real you in this world of twisted morals and competition.
Old friends tend to go away unless you keep in touch with them often. It is quite difficult to maintain long distance friends so unless you visit often or plan yearly get togethers, it is difficult...
Some of them, although one has recently died and I will miss him greatly.
I still keep in touch with some old friends. Some of them I don't know where they are anymore.
unfortunately no cuz ive moved around quite a bit
not realy(I travel)but am sure they r still ther some wher I hop :(
Thankfully yes, although some have died. I also have some younger friends...so I won't run out!
No.
I'm only in cotact with one friend from high school days. He happened to move to the same state I now live in.
I've moved a couple of times and I've lost touch with many friends.
No ive had a very bad time with friends in the past its always me who put all the effort and time into our friendship and i always end up getting used so my only best friend these days is my sister.
Yes. I'm just 20. Not been far enough into life to lose friends in the long run.
No. My parents moved us around a lot and its hard to keep friends when you do that.
Try to keep as many friends as possible; From any source.
It is always great to make more.
Thanks so much to all my new friends as they appear from Virtual Reality
Regrettably. . .no !
somewhat but some had transferred to other school(s) from previous years.
Most of my friends I've known for two thirds of my life.
No I have only a few friends.
No, they are different from when I was younger.
Yes.
No. The friends I have now I have known for the last 18 years only. I never see anyone but family from before 18 years ago.
Yep, my best friend, I've known since we were in 2nd grade. We live in different states but talk all the time
My sister who is 7 years younger than I am is my oldest friend. My son (43) is my best friend. Old School has been a dear friend for over 25 years, although he will only admit to 5-6 years because he cannot believe he is that old. Jim came into my life in 1995 as a friend and we became really good friends and we have been together since mid-1997. School-time friends are long gone..lost touch. Work friends never last..friendship at work doesn't necessarily translate to one's personal life after the working relationship ends. :)
I moved around a lot when I was growing up. When I moved to where I am now, I met my best friend. I have known her since I was 12-we're 25 now.
In a word yes.
I still have a handful of them, one of them I have been friends with for over 35 years.
No, I never saw them again.
Kind of as i have lived thousands of miles from home now for the past ten years or so.I still have every friend i have made here in that time tho except the one who matter's the most to me(ironicaly).
the miles have separated us from a lot, but my best friend i have known for 25 years
No - I have never been one for keeping friends - I am not good at staying in touch with people. They know where I am if they want me.
Having said that, I still contact occasionally the people I grew up with. But I have moved around a lot, and so have they, so I no longer live anywhere near any of the people I grew up with.
No, 'cos the internet didnt exist as we know it now, when I was younger LoL
