I think the one you marry should be "your best friend" You should be that close and that in tune with each other. Want to be around them and share your deepest secrets and thoughts with. So IF I ever come upon that person YES I will marry him! +5

Noooooooooooooooooo! I love him dearly. I swear I cannot live without him. But in no way do I want to marry him. :) And I am sure he would never even consider marrying me. We like things just the way they are.

Yes but no. His girlfriend is my best friend of the same sex and they love each other and it's gorgeous to see. but it it wasn't for that, and that i want them both to be totally happy more than I want to be happy myself, yes. i want to know and love him for the rest of my life. i'd love to spend my life with him, tell him everything. but... yea. and it's so weird, i've never felt like this before. and i'm not in love with him, but i do love him. just to be confusing.

I don't know because relationships happen even if u don't expect them do...so i think it is mostly based on how the situation happens and if you really connect with that personPr

If I was at a certain age and still single, and it was the same situation for them, I think I could, but there would be some awkward moments. I am not attracted to them in that way, so no "happy honeymoon" time.

No. As much as I love him, I could never be with him. Not only does he not like me in that way, but I know I'd never be able to be myself. He'd end up holding me back from going on adventures, arguing with me all of the time, think that my goofiness is stupid.... I know he doesn't sound like a friend, but this is just him. He really is a good guy, but he is very, well, limited in those senses.

My wife was my best friend.

We fell in love with each other.

We wondered if this would work, since we knew he other abut 80%.

    We were blessed.

After 44 years of being married to my best friend, i can state that marrying your best friend can work, if you want it to.
