i have had no problems with vista on my laptop - but I have had problems with the laptops track pad, which caused the mouse tracker thingy to go all over the place and switch programs.. maybe it is the laptop not vista?

Just had a thought. With touchpad mouse - if you accidentally touch the touchpad - it is a mouse click and anything can happen then, depending on where the mouse pointer happened to be.

This is true of all versions of windows - it's just a laptop problem
