    Here's what I see:

    AnswerBag Bad:
    - Only 10 answers per page
    - Ads in middle of page
    - Slow
    - No category suggestions

    AnswerBag Good:
    - Questions do not close
    - More categories
    - Comments on answers allowed
    - Everyone can vote on answers
    - Profile and activity very detailed

    Yahoo Answers Good:
    - All answers shown on one page
    - Ads on right-hand-side of page
    - Fast
    - Category suggestions

    Yahoo Answers Bad:
    - Questions close after a few days
    - Very few categories
    - Only certain levels can vote
    - Some levels are restricted to a certain number of questions per day
    - Some levels can not vote

Just a start. I've asked a similar question on Yahoo Answers.

Both services are great but since Yahoo Answers was down last week I migrated to AnswerBag. I'm starting to like it here.

The one thing I do not like about AnswerBag is the amount of advertisements on the page. I understand that ads are required but in the middle of the page? That's not common (some forums like expert's exchange do it but I avoid them because of it). For a system like this I would think questions in the sidebar would be sufficient; after all, when the ads are tailored based on the questions asked, there's a much better change the user is actually going to click on them. I know I've clicked a few from Yahoo Answers...

The length of the page displayed is another pain. I absolutely hate clicking next repeatedly. I understand it saves on bandwidth but for me, I often stop reading when I reach "next page" unless my interest level is very high. Maybe it just saves me time in the long run since I move on to something else?

I should add that although Y!A shows all the answers to a question on a single page, they only show 10-15 of my own questions on a single page. I've asked over 200 questions there and spent some time the other day copying all the URLs to a small HTML file so that I could see them all on one single page for future reference. When I'm looking for a question I asked a year ago I don't want to click to another page of questions 25 times in order to find it. At the VERY LEAST, give me the option to search through all the questions I've asked for a certain keyword in the question!
