Help answer this question below.
This begs the question "Do you have a burner?" If so, I am guessing this message is a recent development. Does your burner at least play discs? If it is the case that you do have a burner and that it will play discs but not burn, I would try the following:
1) Go to your device manager and see what model drive you have it says you have. Do this by right clicking on "my computer",selecting "properties", then clicking the hardware tab. You should see a "Device Manager" button . look for the drive.
2) When you find it, right click and select properties. It should say it is working properly. If not, find the website for the drive and download drivers .
Another variation works well if you have Dell or other computer with drivers hosted on their website. They tend to have all the original drivers for most components on your computer and specified to your model to save you the time searching. You may also want to check for viruses.
Are there any recent major changes to your computer like installed software or hardware that may be causing conflict? If so, try removing the new item or using system restore to roll back to a date before you had the problem.
Hope this helps.
Buy a burner.

How do you get stuff... files, off of your computer? I have Norton Utilities. And I finally thought I had deleted a file. But I had not.
