| About me: | I play poker for a living (yes it is actually possible although only about 5% of poker players can do this). I'm also writing a screenplay (although I don't exactly consider myself a screenplay writer. I mostly have written short stories. There is one I posted on here called Something Wrong With Jonny that people seem to like a lot). I know how hard it is to get financing for a film so I'm currently entering some of the poker tournaments that have large fields and high buyins until I hit it big in one shot. Then I can finance it myself. I really need to make all the important decisions with it anyway because I plan on the screenplay being not just good but great. And, I don't want anyone to mess with it. Not because I'm artsy fartsy and would scream, "Oh my God they ruined my masterpiece!" but because I can confidently say that I know what works in movies and what doesn't. And, why something works and why something doesn't. People ask me all the time about my username. Well, I don't really want Dr. Phil dead. It's just a play on words: kill bill, kill dr. phil. However, I'm not fond of the guy. Mostly because people see him and think he knows so much and that what he says is the pinnacle of self help. Well, what he teaches is just masturbation compared to what authors of books about NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and visualization teach. Most therapists are little more than high priced friends, but, at least he is one you can actually watch on TV for free. He won't make much of a dent in your lives, but, he has a cute little show there. He's okay.
