Amidst the usual flurry of glitch and spam reports most blogs attract these days, I'd like to resurrect an old Answerbag November tradition, and ask you to post something you're thankful for.
December will mark my fifth year with Answerbag, so I'd like to say thanks to everyone who makes AB what it is, past, present and future ;).
I'm thankful for every day, every thing, every person, every moment. I hope all of you are thankful for your blessings as well. May you have a peaceful holiday season and here's to next year being the best one yet for all of us!
I am thankful for my wife, first and foremost. Without her, I don't think I'd be where I am, today.
I am thankful for my kids, though I don't hear from them near as often as I'd like. ;-)
I'm thankful that my parents are still alive.
I'm thankful for the people I've found here on AB, and the friendships that have developed. They may be online only, but there are a lot of compassionate, empathetic, caring, and loving people here.
I'm thankful I can still walk, at least some. A few years ago, one doctor suggested a BKA, and I got a second opinion from a new doctor (in more ways than one). I was his first real surgery, and he's kept me able to walk since then.
And, I'm thankful for where I live, the people I know, the family I have, and life, in general. ;-)
Thanks to AB for keeping me sane making me laugh and providing me with valued on line friends.you all know who you are.
Thanks for one close one in particular. you know who you are.
Thanks to my other friends for tolerating me , my children for just being.
Thanks to the National Health Service for keeping me seeing and mobile.
Health and happiness to you all.
I'm thankful for the great friends I have made on Answerbag - I have "met" some very special this year, and would never have got to know them had it not been for Answerbag. So thanks AB! =)
I'm thankful for a wonderful, supportive family. Who even though they have disagreed with some of my decision, stood be me and cheered me on.
I'm thankful for a loving and caring boyfriend, who without him, I would be lost, with no one to give all my love to.
I'm thank for each morning I get to wake up to, and every evening I get to say good night to.
I'm thankful for the roof over my head (though rent is a pain sometimes), food to eat (don't have a table so can't say that), and the security of a job (something I know lots of people don't have now because of the economic crisis, I'll pray for them).
I'm thankful for Answerbag and all it's users. They keep me company long lonely nights when I have no one else to talk to because they're sleeping.
I thank you all!
Answerbag is a nice place, and it is because of your participation.
I thank also those who make less interesting, but useful things on here, like rating, flagging and giving feedbacks: we need them also.
And of course, those who make the whole thing run.
I'd like to give thanks to the kind people who have helped me out, when I was most in need, and the good people of answerbag who have kept me company and given me plenty of good laughs, a good place to vent and a sense of connection I didn't even know I could make across this world.
What am I thankful for?
Next wednesday is the 11th of November.
On the eleventh Hour, of the eleventh day, of the Eleventh Month of the year of our Lord 1918 the guns fell silent. The first world war ended.
Every year since 1922 there has been a service to remember all those British and Commonwealth lives lost to defend this country and everything we stand for.
I am thankful to all those men and women, all heores, who have given their lives to build a better future for us all.
we will remember them.
I'm very thankful to all the good people of Answerbag who have helped me get through some very difficult times when I lost my wife this past July. They have truly helped me and I wish to be there for so many of them when they need a friend who is willing to listen to them or when they need a shoulder to lean on.
Hi, Rich. I am thankful for all the great friends I have met on AB in the past few years and all we have shared, both here and privately through our emails. Amazing how you can meet people with so much in common from so many places around the country/world.
First, Thank you Rich for your dedication and hard work. Since I live in a house full of computer techies, I know what goes into keeping this site up and running.
Overall, I am thankful for a full and happy life and a family I can count on, 24/7.
I've never really taken the time to actually write them out, but, I have been thinking about it a lot, lately...
...You may never know what's going to happen to the people in your life. Accidents happen. I'm thankful that they'er safe, for now, and, hope they'll continue to be safe. My mate, my friends, my family.
...Even though I've been nothing but an over-dramatic, little, b!tch, for the most part, they still stuck around and helped pull me out of my little pool of depression. Still helping.
I'm thankful for all the people on this site, too, who've made me feel very welcome, indeed.
And, I suppose I have to take into account all the little things, as well. Bless you, o' internet connection. Tea. Drawing pads. The people who take the time to actually look at my work.

I'm thankful Rosie is still around and posting every day. What a reminder of respect, etiquette and friendliness on the otherwise cold and anonymous internet.
I'm thankful there are so many people out there willing to share, deabte, add, encourage and discuss. What a great way to reach out, to hear and be heard. Happy Thanksgiving, Answer Bag.
I am thankful that I am around friends and family after running through a rough patch. I am also thankful for all the good people here at AB. Oh, and I am thankful that the curse that I put on the Bengals has been lifted. I should have moved away from Cinti earlier.
I'm thankful to God for my health, the people I love, (my husband, son and daughter and dog).
For the wonderful parents whose care he put me in.
For the siblings, even the ones I'm no longer close to because I still have fond memories of our shared youth together.
For the beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
for the opportunity to see world and meet different people of different cultures.
For the health of everyone I care for.
But most of all. I'm thankful to God for making me and loving me.
For he must. I'm surrounded in richness.
