Churches in the UK accept Evolution as fact and even teach it, albeit as God's tool of creation. Why do you think this is not the case in America, and if a religion has to alter its views on life to avoid becoming out-dated, what then is that religion?

Many Christians claim that since there is no "proof" of evolution, old universe as opposed young earth theories, etc. we should disregard the conclusions they suggest. Why not hold God and Jesus to the same standard?
